If you are looking somewhere special then this is the place to go. Words cannot describe how wonderful it is. The hut has been finished to a very high standard from luxury hand wash/shower gel to a beautiful sofa dressed with ulster weaver cushions with matching beanbag etc. The welcome pack which was provided was much more than we could have hoped for , it consisted of wheaten bread, crisps, whiskey, jams, milk etc. Also a coffee maker and speciality teas were provided. After a busy back to school week “The Shepherds Rest “ was the perfect spot to unwind, relax and spend quality time as a family. The location was tranquil but not too remote and although only a short distance away from home felt worlds away. The scenery and setting was beautiful over looking the ocean where we saw a pod of dolphins pass by, the accommodation is finished and decorated to a standard higher than most hotels with beautiful soft furnishings and high quality locally made items.
