After a busy back to school week “The Shepherds Rest “ was the perfect spot to unwind, relax and spend quality time as a family. The location was tranquil but not too remote and although only a short distance away from home felt worlds away. The scenery and setting was beautiful over looking the ocean where we saw a pod of dolphins pass by, the accommodation is finished and decorated to a standard higher than most hotels with beautiful soft furnishings and high quality locally made items. The pod that accommodates 5 was comfortable cosy  but still roomy.  Every need and more was catered for, from supplies of local produce to charging leads,WiFi, games,smart TV and  wash bay with warm shower outside  if you wish to bring your dog and the list goes on. One of the highlights was the perfect evening entertainment, a log fired hot tub… absolute luxury. This is the ideal spot for a family break,couples night, girls get away  or a hen weekend could take on all three pods for the perfect group weekend.  Great location to explore the Glen’s of a Antrim  and the North coast. The host were lovely highly highly recommend and I will be back with friends in the near future. This is luxury glamping at its best !
